If you currently have the TVPad4 and you have recently noticed that some TVpad4 apps are not working anymore (including the HK Cantonese apps and Chinese video on demand apps), then changing the DNS number on your TVpad4 could solve this problem.

It's quite simple to change the DNS number on your TVpad4. Just go to "Settings", "Network", "Ethernet", choose "Manual" and change the DNS number to one of the DNS numbers listed below. After you have changed the DNS number, restart your TVpad4.

Not all the TVpad4 apps may work after you have changed the DNS number, but a couple of apps including TVpad4 HK Chinese TV apps (HK TV livestream app and HK TVB video on demand app) should be working again after you have changed the DNS number.

If you have the TVpad4 in your possession and you are seeing the following message on your TV screen: "user does not exist", then it could mean two things.

First, check whether your Internet connection is working fine, because you need a working Internet connection in order to connect with the identification servers from Tvpad. If your Internet connection is working fine, then the problem should be somewhere else.

Or, there are some problems with the identification servers from TVpad. Normally, TVpad company will fix this problem quite soon, but you can try changing the DNS number manually on your TVpad4 and after that the TVpad4 apps could be working again.The DNS numbers are constantly changing though.
